Mushtaq, a native of Gulmarg, began his skiing journey at a remarkably young age, nurtured by the snow-covered slopes of his hometown. His early start laid the foundation for a lifelong passion and deep expertise in mountain sports.
For the past 14 years, Mushtaq has been an integral part of Kashmir Heliski,
where he has built a reputation for excellence, reliability, and unmatched knowledge of the Himalayan terrain. His extensive experience navigating the region’s challenging
landscapes is complemented by an impeccable safety record—zero accidents throughout his career, a testament to his skill and vigilance.
Mushtaq has also pursued advanced avalanche safety training, completing both Level 1 and Level 2 courses under internationally certified instructors from the United States. This specialized education further enhances his ability to guide clients safely and confidently through high-altitude environments
Biography
Mushtaq was born in Gulmarg and he started skiing at a very young age. Mushtaq has been working with Kashmir Heliski form the past 14 years. Mushtaq has a lot of experience about the Himalayas with zero accidental records. Mushtaq has done his level 1 and level 2 avalanche course from USA international teachers.
