Manzoor is a proud local of Gulmarg, born and raised in the shadow of the Himalayas and Mount Apharwat. He started skiing at a very young age and went on to compete in multiple national-level skiing championships, building a strong foundation in high-altitude mountain terrain.
In 2009, Manzoor began his professional journey as a mountain and backcountry ski guide in Gulmarg. He worked with an Australian guiding company associated with Mir and Bill Barker, where he gained extensive experience in backcountry skiing, route planning, and snow safety under the mentorship of international guides. This exposure helped him develop a deep understanding of Himalayan snow conditions and avalanche awareness.
Manzoor has also completed Level One training with International Snow Safety Officers, further strengthening his technical knowledge and safety skills. With years of hands-on experience in challenging backcountry terrain, he has built an exceptional track record and maintains a zero-accident guiding history.
Today, Manzoor is part of the Ski Holidays Gulmarg team as a backcountry ski guide. Known for his strength, passion, and love for deep backcountry skiing, he is committed to delivering safe, authentic, and unforgettable Himalayan skiing experiences for guests from around the world.

Manzoor is also a local resident of Gulmarg. Manzoor started skiing at a very young age. Manzoor has also played many National Championship events and has a teaching experience of 8 years. Manzoor is one of the best ski instructors in our company.
